Standard or custom? It is the design you start from — not the quality of the documents. Both get the same set and the same Detailed Estimate. Standard documents one of our published designs, with changes limited to existing window and door sizes, colours and its placement on your plot. Custom documents your own finished scheme, or a published design changed beyond that. What do I still have to arrange and budget for?我还需要安排和预算哪些内容？

A member of our team reads the design, the pricing basis and what is still unknown before the report is issued, and holds it back if something needs fixing first. It gives you a clearer basis for a decision — not a promise of an all-in construction price. Two-storey schemes also carry an upper-floor plan. Larger plots also carry a location plan. Preliminary documents are for early project and planning discussions — they are not construction drawings and not for certification. 两层方案另附上层平面图；地块较大的另附位置图。前置图纸用于前期方案与报建洽谈 —— 不是施工图，也不能作为认证依据。

Do I need a finished design first?必须先有完整方案吗？
Yes — a chosen or created design is the basis for both products. You do not need to own the land, subscribe to anything, or draw anything yourself: picking one of our published designs counts as your design.是 —— 一个确定的方案是两份产品的基础。你不需要先拿到地、不需要订阅、也不需要自己画：选用我们的现成设计就算作「你的方案」。
Must I buy the estimate before the drawings?必须先买估算，才能买图纸包吗？

Why buy the estimate on its own at all?那为什么要单独买估算？

What happens if I change the design afterwards?之后改方案怎么办？
What we issue relates to the version you submitted; later edits do not change it. An updated estimate for a changed scheme or site is a revision (US$79). How current is the price basis?价格基准有多新？
Every report states the date of the price basis it used, and is valid 30 days from issue. Beyond that, material and labour prices may have moved — ask us to reissue before you rely on the figures.每份报告都会写明所用价格基准的日期，并自签发起 30 天内有效。超过之后，材料与人工价格可能已经变动 —— 依赖这些数字之前，让我们重新签发。
